Ngöndro, or preliminary practices, are profound methods for preparing the mind and heart to enter more advanced stages of the Buddhist path. These practices cultivate purification, accumulation of merit, and the stable foundation needed for deeper transformation.

In this course, you will explore:

  • What the preliminary practices are

  • Why they are essential for progressing on the spiritual path

  • How to engage in the Vajrasattva Purification practice

  • How to do Prostrations to the Thirty-five Confession Buddhas

Ven. Angie will offer step-by-step instructions for Prostrations to the Thirty-five Confession Buddhas during the Sunday, March 22 session.

This course is ideal for individuals who:

  • Are familiar with the Stages of the Path (Lamrim) teachings as presented in the Discovering Buddhism program.

Note: Completion of all the Discovering Buddhism modules is not required to attend this course.
